An image is worth a 1000 words, so make sure you upload high quality images.

Quality matters

Quality is better than quantity, so if you have an image that is poor quality, don't upload it - a poor quality image can put off a potential buyer.

Suitable illustrations

You can upload photos, line drawings, diagrams, process schematics and swatches.

Composite illustrations should only be used if they help users make an informed comparison of a product’s options or features.

Product images

Products images must be correctly scaled.

You can include:

  • Products set on a plain background

  • Products in context

  • Close ups to show features

  • Swatches to show colours and finishes

  • Schematics to show how a product works and reveal hidden features

Project images

Project images can be used give clients ideas of the outcomes that can be achieved.

Use illustrations to show:

  • The complete scheme

  • Before and after shots

  • Details and close ups

  • Products in context

  • Products being used

  • A service being implemented

Corporate images

Examples of images that can be effective include:

  • Facilities

  • People

  • Premises

Ordering your images

To change the order the images appear in when they are published, drag and drop them into the order you want.
